These cute mushrooms are known as "TAT Smurf" Psilocybin Cubensis mushrooms. Part of the Psilocybe Cubensis Genus. This strain has been our best selling strain for the year of 2023 so far, with Penis Envy Strain coming in at a close second! (read about Penis Envy strain here)

"TAT" Stands for "True Albino Teacher" which is a strain itself. "TAT Smurf" is a variant of the "True Albino Teacher" Strain. TAT came from a regular Golden Teacher grow that produced a Albino mushroom (fully white mushroom - read more here about albino mushrooms). We have seen many websites claiming that the TAT Smurf Mushroom is a cross strain of APE (Albino Penis Envy) and another cubensis. This is false information! Yes they look like an APE but they are not related in the strain lineage. BUT that said there are strains that are crosses wtih APE and TAT, that look similar but are called Jack Frost (Psilocybin Cubensis Magic Mushroom Strain) or Pearly Gates (Psilocybin Cubensis Magic Mushroom Strain) The phenomenon of mushrooms turning albino, also known as "albinism," can occur due to various reasons. Albinism in mushrooms is characterized by the absence or reduction of pigmentation, resulting in a white or pale appearance.

When TAT Smurf mushrooms dry, their caps turn a yellowish colour, and the stems turn a blueish colour, just like a Smurf! The blue in the stem, is psilocybin. When psilocybin is concentrated, it is a blue liquid, and it can be seen in potent magic mushroom stems when they dry, or are bruised.

Because TAT Smurf has Golden Teacher deep in its genes, it produces very similar effects. If you would like to learn more about Albino Mushrooms, please read our article here! If you want to buy some albino mushrooms or grow your own albino psilocybin / magic mushrooms, check out our shop here!
